THEME: FOSTERING ECOSPHERE IN BUILT ENVIRONMENT.

The idea to encourage the ecological living environment as a whole where it is not only to cater the ‘environment’. Indeed, environmental protection focuses more on keeping our air, land and water clean and healthy. As with most environmental issues, built environment can have significant positive and negative effects. It is man-made surroundings that provide the setting for human activity, ranging from large scale of surrounding to the small personal shelters which contributes to environmental impacts. As well designed as the built environment enhances the development and well-being of future generation and supports healthier and happier communities. Thus, Fostering Ecosphere towards Built Environments is an aspirational description of the theme of the seminar. This concluded that professionals who work in built environment (planners, developers, designers, architects and service providers) and other field are responsible to respond effectively on embedding sustainable environmentally design approach towards enriching the quality of life. Embedding sustainability approaches provides an infrastructure to address community health challenges in the long run in a way helping a community make the best use of the resources that make possible to leverage resources for the future activity.
